At Franky’s Fish Chips & Snacks, Franky understands how important it is for customers to order quickly and easily, especially during busy moments like lunch or Friday afternoons. His previous ordering kiosk was too large, and a second one was needed. To improve flow and keep the space organized, Franky needed a solution that was both efficient and space-saving.

That’s why he chose two QIOX FRIEND Counter kiosks, placed compactly side by side on the counter. Franky first discovered the kiosks at our stand during the Horecava exhibition and was immediately impressed by their sleek design and compact size. The kiosks process orders simultaneously, so guests don’t have to wait. Customers can quickly choose their favorite snacks, while the team can fully focus
on preparing and serving the food.

'It really makes a huge difference,' says Franky.
'Before, there was one large kiosk taking up space. With two compact kiosks, I can better manage the crowd and keep service fast and smooth.'
What truly adds value is the flexibility and control the kiosks provide. Positioned strategically on the counter, they ensure a smooth flow during peak moments. At the same time, the touchscreen gives customers direct insight into the menu, product availability, and their order. This reduces errors, speeds up service, and creates a modern, self-service ordering experience.

But Franky looks beyond his own business. Together with his partner Coen, he is actively involved in volunteer work in Ukraine. With a mobile food truck, they prepare fries and snacks in areas where people are in need, support temporary shelter, and assist with evacuations. What once started small has grown into a foundation. Around 40% of their time is now spent in Ukraine. 'It’s demanding work, but incredibly rewarding,' Franky explains.
Thanks to the QIOX FRIEND kiosks, Franky can confidently divide his attention. The kiosks ensure a modern, efficient, and customer-friendly ordering experience, while he and Coen dedicate themselves to helping people who truly need it. In this way, he combines innovation in his business with social impact, exactly what QIOX stands for: technology that helps people.
